Topic: What is the tools for Vx Heavens classifying the virus

I have download some viruses from the this web site. I am glad to get the samples from here, and a phenomeneon appeared  when I test it with other anti-virus tools. some samples are not the virus. and maybe some features with it. In other hand, when using the different anti-virus to test, one class defined in this web site will be classified as more classes. So I want to know which tool this website use to define the class of malware.

Its all related to how the virus's are packed and what types of scanners you are using. If you will notice many virus's have essentially the same "core" component but will just have obfuscation / wrappers put in place to throw off scanners.
